I use my film camera as a sketchbook. A place to become an honest collector—to capture atmosphere, moments, space. I don’t fuss over it. I don’t try to bring rules and rigidity to the process. I encourage myself not to focus too much on the act of studying. I remind myself to become aware and collect my presence simply.
