Collection Preview: Monotypes Vol. 1

Collection Preview: Monotypes Vol. 1

I set up a makeshift printmaking studio at the start of this year. It was enough to get by. A place for me to find familiarity in a once-fluent process. A moment to just begin. I remarkably found this space to share some of the most impactful moments of my career thus far.

The printmaking process is spontaneous and full of uncovering hidden beauty. I can capture quick gestures that my hand otherwise cannot find in further mediums. It’s all so humble — but so are the prints in this collection.

They’re paintings unlike anything else I’ve created. An image between here and there. Collected marks, gestures, and ephemera make their way into precious expressions. The landscape, in all of her nostalgia and beauty.

With this body of work, I want to celebrate both refined and raw - much like our natural world. Holding these landscapes in your home, you will feel the gestures used to bring these pieces to life. Each print is delicate in its own way - a reminder we can uncover beauty in even the smallest spaces of our daily lives.

Coming June 28 at 8:00 PM EST.

A collection preview and early access will be shared with my Collectors’ community in the coming weeks.
